Confusion
Who is God?
A Poem: Confusion
Because we want you to be What we want, Where we want, When we want, We don’t accept You being you. We live our lives upside-down. Instead of living your image, We make you into ours. We expect the answer to Our prayers as always “yes;” We expect everything To always turn out okay. When they are not, We get confused, Then angry. Why can’t you be What we want you to be? Why can’t you exist As we have created you? Because you are the Creator! We are the created. Life never works Upside-down
A Prayer: Please Give Me
Gracious and holy Father, please give me intellect to understand you, reason to discern you, diligence to seek you, wisdom to find you, a spirit to know you, a heart to meditate upon you, ears to hear you, eyes to see you, a tongue to proclaim you, a way of life pleasing to you, patience to wait for you, and perseverance to look for you. — Benedict of Nursia
A Passage: For Reflection
"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
and your ways are not my ways."
This is the LORD's declaration.
"For as heaven is higher than earth,
so my ways are higher than your ways,
and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
— Isaiah 55:8-9 CSB
