A Poem: Newness (Reflecting on God)
There is newness in this day. That I will never know again. Bursting into my life; Welcoming what I have not lived before. There is newness in this moment; Breathing deep to embrace What I have yet to experience, Surprised by each second. There is newness in God; Existing before time, Knowing eveything, Experiencing everything. Existing now, then, forever; Yet always new! There is a newness in God.
A Prayer: Let Me Sink
iLord, Let me sink into your presence, Centering my life in you. Let me sink into the reality Of who you are ; Deeply into the caring embrace, That encircles, Deeply into your astonishing grace, That accepts, Deep into your magnificent mercy, That forgives, Let me sink deeply into your love, That transcends all that I was, All that I am, All that I will be, Now and forever.
