Numbers

5124 - my address,
0064 - last four of my phone,
11/05 - my birthday,
2025 - this year.
Numbers!
We use them
To share,
To tell,
To define,
Who,
What,
Where
When,
We are.
But…
Numbers need context.
Like life itself,
Numbers need more
Than they are.
5124 without a street,
Means nothing.
0064 without reference
Floats into the air.
My life without context,
Is the same.
Where am I?
When am I there?
What am I doing,
At this moment?
How am I doing,
At this moment?
Living…
In a sea,
Of numbers!
