A Poem: Somewhere on the Horizon
Somewhere on the horizon All our questions Are answered. Somewhere on the horizon All our problems Are solved. Somewhere on the horizon Hurt by others Won’t exist. Somewhere on the horizon Our excuses Fade into vapor. Somewhere on the horizon Our mistakes Won’t matter. Somewhere on the horizon Is the end, As we know it. Somewhere on the horizon Is the beginning, Of the way all should be.
A Prayer: Jesus, I Want to See You
Jesus, I want to see you As you were, Walking this earth, Living and teaching What to be human really is. Jesus, I want to see you, As you are, At the right hand of the Father, Interceding for the saints Especially me. Jesus, I want to see you, As you will be, In new heaven and earth, Dwelling with your people, Lord of all. Jesus, I want to see you, Coming again, Righteous and true, King of Glory, “Come, Lord Jesus!”
A Passage of Scripture: For Reflection
He who testifies about these things says,
“Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
