A Poem: Time
Time will slice:
Twenty four
In every day.
Time will entice,
Every step
Of the way.
Time won’t discriminate;
Everyone the same
Measured amount.
Time never waits,
No matter how
Much we shout.
I wish I had more;
Thirty six in each day
Would be simply sublime.
Still not enough,
To get everything done;
Even with infinite time.
A Prayer: Lord of All Time
Father God,
You are the Lord of each minute,
For you are the Maker of Time.
No mater how easy today might be,
You desire that I give you the glory,
No matter how hectic today is,
You desire that I seek your stability,
No matter how difficult today is,
You desire that I lean hard into you.
Maker of Time,
Make this day a day of realizing
Your presence,
Your purpose,
Your power,
That I might live
As your beloved child,
Held in your strong arms.

My prayer this morning was this prayer. May all I do be focused on Him. May even simplest task give Him glory. Thanks. I needed this reinforcement. Your words touch deeply.
