A Poem: Warmth
Wrapped in a blanket, Perched on a lap; Wishing for warm. Captivated By a solitary crab, Crawling slowly Across the empty beach. Just her and mamma; Too cold for anyone else. “Do crabs get cold?” “Where is his mamma, To keep him warm?” Leaning against her mamma, Warmer, Waiting for more warmth, And another crab. Unaware how blessed!
A Prayer: Blessed
Lord, I am loved, I am accepted, I am forgiven, I am blessed. Your presence Fills my life with joy. You give me your very self. This day help me, Not to complain, Not to whine, Not to gripe, Not to grumble, Not to mumble. Instead, may I Celebrate your grace, Rejoice in your mercy, Letting your arms of love Hold tight my soul.
A Passage: For Reflection
Taste and see that the LORD is good;
blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.
